Man Found Dead Along Roadway in San Diego’s North County

According to sheriff’s homicide Lt. Kenn Nelson, a motorist driving on Twin Oaks Valley Road noticed a man off the side of the road and called 911 about 5:30am.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that police confirmed an African-American man in his mid-20’s had suffered fatal wounds or injuries. A homicide investigation is now underway.

Lt. Nelson did not say what type of injuries the man sustained, but that it was a homicide case, not a hit-and-run collision.
